- Certificate error when using Citrix Receiver - Ask Ubuntu

  This error message suggests that the client device does not have the required root certificate/intermediate certificate to establish trust with the certificate. I am getting the dreaded SSL error when trying to use the current version of Citrix Workspace on Ubuntu LTS.

If you are using SHA2 certificates then the older version of Receiver does not support these certificate. As long as your company wont require a specific version higher than That appears to be because Citrix does not supply all of the latest certificates. Worked for me. Hope this helps.
